Boat Name: Puto El Que Lee
Crew capacity: 1
Name of captain: Capeten
Dock location: Puerto Madero, Argentina
Cargo Capacity: 120 KG.
That's a lot of KG for a 1 man ship.

Cargo Capacity: 120 KG.
Too much. that is about 264 Pounds.

Journey on The Savvy one goes out to UK as an excursion.
Starting:
15 Pounds of cargo
4 Days of supplies.

Results:
Lasted 3 days
Storm struck ship
Lost 1 Pound of cargo

Why do we start out with a row boat? Its nearly impossible to go anywhere farther than like twenty miles and crewmen usually start out with a small, 4 person sailboat.

How do you determine the results of a voyage? Roll a die, randomizer, or just choose it yourself? Because if you just choose it yourself then there's a big chance of people godmodding.

Randomizer or a die
You should specify that in the OP

OT: The Red Moku goes on a voyage to the Island of Hawai'i (aka Big Island).
I roll 5 out of 6.

RESULTS
Lasted 5 days.
The boat comes back with minor damages.
We come back with 2 lbs of food and 5 lbs of building materials.

Boat Name: Watashi wa Botodesu
Crew capacity: 3
Name of captain: William Koi
Dock location: Monterrey, CA
Cargo Capacity: 50 lb

The Watashi wa Botodesu goes on a voyage to Catalina Island, outside of Los Angeles, to sell hand-picked blueberries.
I roll two sixes.

RESULTS
Lasted 6 days.
The boat comes back with no visible damage.
I come back with $6/lb, making a profit of $18.

The Watashi wa Botodesu is being carefully inspected to make sure no damage was encountered during the last voyage. Regular trips down the coast to Catalina with more cargo could easily make a lot of profit. In fact, as much as $250 could be made each trip, leading to the crew being able to buy a larger ship within weeks (assuming a trip occurs every so often).

A week later, Watashi wa Botodesu goes on a voyage carrying 30 lbs.

Results:
6 days long.
3 pounds lost.
$162 made.

The Savvy One goes on a voyage to Isle of Man with 20 pounds of coal.

Results:
Damage
Giant squid
Lasted 2 days
4 pounds of cargo lost

Inspection revealed that there was a hole in the boat, but it did not sink. The rest of the coal, which is 16 pounds, cost as much as 80$

Boat is reinforced with wood chopped down, and more seats and beds are added, 3$ left

Cargo is upped to 40 pounds, crew capacity is upped to 3.

I honestly doubt that you couldnt find a map. Here's one

Watashi wa Botodesu upgrades. Boat's reinforced with cheap metal for $40, more crew beds are added, tech is added, more seats, and a motor is added, totaling around $200. $38 was in reserve from the beginning of the game.
