Would you guys like musics from other games or so to be included on some tracks instead of everything being composed for the gamemode?

Don't worry this project is not dead, and I can prove that with a new vehicle!

This is the SuperPlane, and if you're curious about it's lack of a propeller, it's because this one is jet powered, like those fighter jets, but still have the classic look of a stunt plane.

-snip-
SuperKart, now with even less karts!
I really like it, soft shaders made the picture a lot better too

Wow thats cool :D
are there gonna be any tracks with that plane like going through hoops and stuff

Each vehicle will have it's own type of track

Would it ever be possible to have a track where the karts change to accommodate the track, ex. a normal kart turning into a Superplane or a Hoverkart on a certain part of the track?

is it gonna drive or fly? if its gonna fly then its going to be a failure, with our current engine (if you touch somebody you go flying, etc)

I think it's not quite possible to change datablocks while the server's running. For example, if you use the server console to change a vehicle's property (like spring length or lift), the vehicle gets all jittery and laggy for everyone else in the server until you transmit datablocks.

If you're thinking of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, that would be a great idea, but implementation would probably be iffy.

Maybe there could be a place where you have to get out of your car and change vehicles. Lots of opportunity for roadkill though, could be pretty chaotic.

If you touch someone while driving you go flying.  I think that with reasonably limited flying speed and proper track design, it'd work fine.

If you touch someone while driving you go flying.
And if you touch someone while flying, at least one of you will almost definitely spiral out of control.

Then again, we're already used to dealing with crazy collisions that knock us off the track; it's easier to recover when your vehicle is supposed to be in the air.

There would need to be a lot of checkpoints to prevent shortcuts, and they should be pretty big so it wouldn't be a disaster every time multiple people went through the same part of the track at the same time.

If the track was big and wide enough (vertically as well as horizontally; opportunities to dive, gain a lot of speed, then either slow yourself down or risk crashing by maintaining that speed through an obstacle-filled straight), it could be pretty awesome.

That was an interesting surprise

There is an event that changes your vehicle when you get in a ZoneBrick so it's totally possible, here it is.

You listed SuperPlane twice.

Are we going to get custom parts for the SuperATV and SuperHover that look like the OffroadKart and GravityKart?
