Honestly I'm not trying to make you feel bad but you should also keep your options open as well. Don't get caught up focused on this girl and miss the chance to be with another one.

If there is one thing I've learned is girls will say anything to get out of situations they don't want to be in. Awhile ago me and my ex broke up because she claimed "she was to busy with school to focus on a relationship." I learned later she actually lost feelings and lied about the whole school thing.

Basic point is, girls will lie to get out of saying what they actually feel. On the chance yours is doing the same, keep your options open.

True stuff, that's why my feelings haven't truly came out yet. They're just chillin on the front line waiting to see if something goes down. If not then I just move on no big deal
