Physical
Digital

Author Topic: Are you more likely to buy a physical or digital copy of something?  (Read 2447 times)

Mostly physical except pc games.

I like digital, but I do really like having physical copies of albums. Dem pamphlets though. Plus I'm building up CDs so I'll have stuff to play in the car when I'm 16

The vast majority of things I've bought in the past six years are digital copies of games. It's convenient since they're all practically stored in one place and they don't take up physical space - believe it or not, space is a luxury that I don't have (or one that I misuse and have convinced myself I don't have any).

The last few physical copies of PC games I've bought were Steam games anyway, so the purpose of having the disc beyond novelty was lost.

Before the topic is officially locked, everyone who said digital is wrong. Physical is vastly superior.
  • Physical things are higher value and/or cost less
  • Physical things are good to have in the event of a Steampocalypse
  • Physical things can be converted to digital
