How good is this computer? And if it isn't can you suggest me a better one.

I've decided on getting a new computer instead of games, I just want someone to give me a cheap, good computer around $300 for me to build.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboBundleDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1661629
is this a good computer?

If anyone can suggest me anything better, I may be able to go to around $400 for parts.

Please note I don't want a prebuilt computer, I want parts.

I've tried making you a mock build with decent parts but its hard to keep within your budget and actually give you something you would want. For that price tag, it will be very hard to beat that deal, or at least to beat it by finding and assembling parts yourself. I'd normally say assemble a pc yourself with parts but for your budget i'd just go with that deal you've found, but look around some more to see if you can find a better one that fits your budget.

Thats my personal opinion of course.

You should try to see if you can get more money.

The integrated graphics card on your labtop is a bit better than the integrated graphics card on the PC you are looking to buy.
Your cpu absolutely Annoying Oranges the one in that pc on newegg.

Well I'm doing this, got it as a combo for $300 (minus the PSU and windows 8), the gpu was free

Wait. Is that computer in the OP a prebuilt one?
And how good would it be for using it for 24/7 Servers like Minecraft, Blockland, etc etc.

Its not prebuilt, its just all together because its a giant combo deal, you'd have to assemble it yourself.
It would be just fine. I'd shop around some more if you just want a computer to host servers with just to see whats available.

This is going a little over your budget but here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3Qhd1

So it's fine for hosting servers, I think thats the best I can do without selling some stuff.
If I need to build it do you have any guides I can follow, I am kind of new to this and I don't want to forget it up :I

Use your old computer as a guide, and some stuff from the internet.

For super-low budgets like this, sometimes it's a better idea to get a prebuilt desktop or laptop, because the value of the bundled OS/software (like office) adds a lot. With that said, you could get way more value for your money if you were to spend maybe $600 on parts without including periphirals
