Author Topic: Is it possible in any way to use shaders even though my GC cannot handle them?  (Read 429 times)

I have a stuffty little HP laptop that gets low FPS even when I have no bricks loaded. Even still, I was wondering if there was anything I could do short of paying actual money for anything so that I could use shaders at minimum. A programming trick, a short tutorial, even an old shader mod would be extremely helpful. If needed I can provide some info.

If your graphics card can't run shaders, then it can't run shaders.

If you have a laptop, you probably don't even have a graphics card. Can you post your specs?

NOEDIT: I used to run this game beautifully on a 2001 Dell running Windows XP. If you get a low framerate just from being in a game, that's pretty impressive.
