Nah Comcast still has a near complete monopoly in areas its located in, and it will only double if this deal with TWC goes through. Which it probably will considering the ex-FCC commissioner works for Comcast and the President of the United States is close with the CEO.

Theyre going to slowly ruin the internet with their anti-net-neutrality stance, and they suck major ass and failed to improve their infrastructure despite being granted literal billions by the government to do so.

I hate Comcast but I live outside of Philadelphia and theres no alternative ISP thats not satellite or dial-up. I also read recently that theyre lobbying to pass laws that would prevent ISP's from being granted title two status.

Comcast sucks.

I pay for business class internet from them and theyre so inconsistent that despite running a new line to my house multiple times we still occasionally receive speeds as low as <1mbps.

In my area, Comcast, Verizon FiOS, Time Warner, and Optimum are easily available. FiOS drilled their cables about 4 years ago in my town.
