I personally knew someone who did research a couple times for a major studio. You will not like it after doing it, unless you only care about the money and not your future. Scenes could pay as much a $1,000 or more if your just starting.

Risk of STD's are high too because a lot of tests are faked.

i don't think anyone thinks of research as "normal love" (unless you're forgeted in the head), i'm pretty sure he just meant something that's normal for people to do. also i haven't seen any valid arguments against OP, other than "it'll screw up ur career!!!"
