Author Topic: So My Neighbors Probably Killed My Cat  (Read 7384 times)

Dosn't matter. It's 100% your responsibility.

We can't always blame the victim for things. But many times they deserve more then they think.
When things are so avoidable it's just silly. You broke the law to begin with.
what the forget are you talking about. you can't kill cats just because they're outside

where is the law that says it's okay to kill neighborhood cats because they're on your property

get a bulldog and let him rip those forgetfaced stoner's throats out

he's just trying to say that since it's illegal to let your pets roam about freely, it's his fault they got killed.

Now of course if OP hadn't made a habit of letting the cat be an outdoors one, then this wouldn't have happened, but that doesn't mean he caused it.

The punks who were killing cats were the ones killing cats, to put it plainly.

It's irrelevant if it's enforced or not. It's illegal everywhere but farms/rural areas.

If he wants to risk it that's his business. But it's laughable that he calls the police over it.
That's like reporting your drug dealer for ripping you off. Criminals on both sides think they deserve so much justice.

The police went to their house because of a fight, then they found 4 dead cats. And also, it's common sense NOT TO KILL A GOD DAMN CAT.

To be honest, you shouldn't have come here. I don't really know what you were expecting, but you should have expected it to backfire in some way. That's just how these people (or at least bisjac) reacts.

the only reason humans are treated as more important than animals is because we have given ourselves that title, not because we actually are.

Look, I'll never defend someone like the forgeters that killed four cats, possibly including your own.

But to say that that person should die? I'm sorry but that's just not right.

I can't help but agree that it's ridiculous to put the life of an animal higher than the price of a human being.

Now that is not a comforting fact, but the fact remains that some people are just mentally damaged.

Perhaps your neighbors are sociopaths, and the act of killing those cats was an act of passion.

Could you imagine doing something your passionate about, and having other people want you to die for it?

I'm not saying what they did was okay, I'm just saying that saying they should die is stupid.

most cats hang out outside, and roam the streets. kinda nice.

every single place i've been to, save for big cities, there are cats everywhere, and guess what

no one is advocating killin em.

But letting your cat wander the neighborhood is also illegal

I'm sorry but just because humans are the dominate species doesn't mean our life is valued anymore than another.

lmao of course our lives are worth more. you're just pissed about your cat, rightfully so.

The fact is that humans lives, as "The Magical Dunes" stated, are worth more than that of a cat can be proven through and through.

A cats life span is 12-14 years, statistics say. A human can live decades.

And think about how articulate humans are. Pets are certainly express emotions and thoughts, but humans are capable of so much more.

They understand cause and affect, create things, make the lives better of their fellow man.

Humans are also incredible at being rehabilitated. Their capability to change can be seen in many a circumstance.

Once again, I can't help but agree with The Magical Dunes. I'd say a large portion of this aggression stems from the fact that you were indeed, emotionally connected to the cat. Does that mean no one should care when a pet dies? Of course not. But to kill a human over it is, again, out of the question.
