I'm sorry but just because humans are the dominate species doesn't mean our life is valued anymore than another.
The fact is that humans lives, as "The Magical Dunes" stated, are worth more than that of a cat can be proven through and through.
A cats life span is 12-14 years, statistics say. A human can live decades.
And think about how articulate humans are. Pets are certainly express emotions and thoughts, but humans are capable of so much more.
They understand cause and affect, create things, make the lives better of their fellow man.
Humans are also incredible at being rehabilitated. Their capability to change can be seen in many a circumstance.
Once again, I can't help but agree with The Magical Dunes. I'd say a large portion of this aggression stems from the fact that you were indeed, emotionally connected to the cat. Does that mean no one should care when a pet dies? Of course not. But to kill a human over it is, again, out of the question.
beat it archimedes you've been dead for millennia
