I really like your idea of making a more organized database of RTB add-ons, complete with other features, too.
I hope yours goes well, but I might try to make my own with other ideologies (I don't really like the idea of donating, since hosting is pretty cheap/free if on your own connection. Also, as some have said, RTB was awesome, and it would be really hard to replicate something like that. RTB v2 would be claiming it to be on par or better to RTB itself, when in reality that isn't going to happen for a while.)
I also consider myself a website designer, so that's cool too.

Pros:

Cons:

• Logo has horrible transparency, white spots
• Asks for donations? Costs $8 a year to own the domain, $0 for hosting if you are smart and already have a server.
• Low resolution images, don't blow up thumbnails.

This is all my opinion, I am not saying you can't do this just stating my thoughts.
