when i tried to reinstall, the game erased itself from my steam library

NOEDIT: Seems to be working fine for me. (God damn it downloaded fast)

i've got this problem too
tried reinstalling, no luck
tried deleting the entire blockland folder while keeping saves, no luck

This seems to be a problem with the steam beta.  Quick fix is to opt out of the beta:
steam->settings->account->beta participation->NONE->restart steam
