Author Topic: [Looking for Web Designers] Organized RTB Add-On Database  (Read 2547 times)

(note: by add-on databases I mean RTB add-ons)
Hello everyone!
I'm planning on creating an organized add-on database, similar to the one espio tried to create. I didn't really like some of his principals, and also I'm a decent web designer.
It's going to be similar to the existing add-on databases, except more organized and prettier.
Also, no, it's not going to be called RTB 2.0 or something, since I realize that RTB was great, and it would be insanely hard to even be on the same level as it using a website.

Okay, so now that's out of the way, I'm working on the website design. Later on, I'd need someone to help me with downloading things (preferably someone who is already running a rtb backup of their own). If we have time to be really ambitious, we will allow people to upload add-ons and the various members of the community will elect mod reviews (so, no four month wait times).

First thing is first, I'm designing the website. One of the things I need from you guys is a nice DOF screenshot that is pretty high-res (see: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=23604.0 ). Not much should be going on in the middle of the shot, since that is where I am going to put up the main bulk of the page, blocking the image.

Reserved for future information.

For pictures, check this. Also, good luck :D!

DaProgs made an exact replica of the RTB website.

I'd be happy to review mods. You'd probably only want coders to review them, as other people would only be able to review it for how useful it is. My work.    :)

Didn't think to check out Mr. Lol's tumblr, thanks!

Awesome to know people want to help out! Thanks

Would also be happy to help review the mods, if needed.

I would help review mods as well.

Now you can make an API and we can make an add-on manager.

But don't call it RTB ;)

You can count me in as a reviewer if this actually takes off.

I would also like to be a reviewer, if possible.  Just look at my recent posts in suggestions/requests and addons!

Working on the website, anyone wanna make a logo? If not, I can create my own.

hey, you should have that once thing RTB did where you upload a save and it tells you all the RTB addons that were used

what name are you using, RTB? I made a logo for buttman got the colors wrong so I didn't give it to him. I'm sure I can modify the text and give it.

Not really sure, anyone have any acronyms?
I guess I could just use my spookysushi logo if needed.

Anyways, before I do that I want to see if the community has any ideas
