Uh
Because sometimes people like to have time to remember  the people who died and pay respect to them
because he was a very intelligent and thoughtful man who cared a lot about his country and wanted to help people
because he was assassinated when he still had a life ahead of him and lots of opportunities and potential
because today was the day he died and no one here even knows who this man was and that's kind of unfortunate.

both rfk and jfk's lives were cut short due to an assassination, sadly :(
