Yeah because it's pretty pathetic that the headphones needs batteries to begin with to power it's stuff quality.

I actually have a little faith that Apple MIGHT fix how bad Beats are.

Well, high end headphones DO need a lot of power to push the speakers well. Most people use a little battery amp between their iPod/phone/computer and headphones. Other headphones have the amp built in, like Beats.
Not to say Beats are particularly high end...

"better"

I explained twice why it would sound worse

they can easily pass an brown townog signal through a few pins of the lightning port and provide power to amplify the signal to the headphones. Though it's just a theory. I'm not saying it's a good idea, but it's possible. And we're talking Apple. I'm just thinking possibly they'll make it seem like Beats have some kind of special way to connect to your iDevice for "better sound quality" or something silly like that to get more purchases.

Yes, because people so just drop things for fun. People don't get to choose when they accidentally drop something.
You're a moron if you drop your phone 'for fun'. Then buy a case if you are accident prone. I dropped my phone one time in the almost 2 years I have had it, if you drop it non-stop it's your own fault.

Its not like you can magically know if you're accident prone, you don't even have to be accident prone to drop something. You can go all your life without dropping something then one day bam, you drop something.

Then that's the day you got to repair it, oh boo hoo.

Wouldn't have to be repaired if they weren't made so cheaply

The subject is ludicrous. Apple is not abandoning the headphone jack. Obviously they're planning on creating a line of high-fidelity headphones made for compatibility with iPhones, that doesn't mean they're cutting everyone else out. The headphone jack is still the standard and there's no way they're going to abandon that. This dude is just trying to start stuff.

I don't know if I could take this "informed opinion" seriously if they spelled learned, "learnt". Also, even if this were to happen, it wouldn't occur until the next NEXT generation. Patents for the 6 have already shown the design to have a 3.5mm jack.
Learnt is a real word. Just like burnt instead of burned.

The Game Boy Advance SP did that, and it was stupid. The DS corrected that mistake shortly after.

Android flagships are also €599 moron, and you are not supoose to drop iPods, or any device. You're such a loving idiot oh my god.

Oh, and you are choosing the most expensive iPhone.

I understand if you don't like Apple or Laptops(even tho it makes zero sense to hate laptops), but don't go stuffting your stupid anti-apple/laptop stuff all ovrt te BLF.
There was no need for this post since there were other, more logical and nicer posts replying to him. Also, it makes perfect sense for someone to hate laptops.  Just because you don't hate them doesn't mean someone else doesn't have a good enough reason to hate them.

Yes, a person would be quite idiotic for dropping a phone for fun, unless there was any kind of logical reason for such an action.

Oh well you're special for not dropping an electronic device for two years, so what, want a damn medal?  That's beside the fact that you could still easily drop it at any moment without knowing.  Also, who said they drop their phone non-stop?

I can only see someone who has parkinsins or has some sort of physical (or possibly mental) problem that would in which would, yes hold them at fault for having such a device (or if someone else was involved in getting said such device to said person), drop a device non-stop.

Then that's the day you got to repair it, oh boo hoo.
Or buy a new one? (if possible)  Also, no one is crying, why do you continue to spew completely unnecessary posts?

the first day i got my iphone 4 a few years back i was playing with it on an app and then it flew out of my hands, 3 feet in the air, hit the ground, and did not take a single crack.

Screw that, I am NOT buying any Apple iDevice Product if THIS will happen.

So be it, let him hate them, but does that mean he should come into laptop buying threads and spew stuff everywhere?

No, I was not trying to make me seem like I want a medal, my point was if you are clumsy with your phone that is your own fault, not Apple's.

You are really stupid for thinking they are getting rid of the headphone jack, this would hurt Apple more than it would help them and they know it. And even if they do get rid of it, you are AGAIN stupid for thinking a petition will do jack stuff.
