Author Topic: okay what the hell happened to the search tool (Read 740 times)

So for some reason, I decided instead of going to the addons section to look, I would use the search tool and search for "s" in the addons section only.

In the results, there's this weird combination of letters replacing things

(copy-pasted from Crispy's Colorset)

that's always been there, its a thing in HTML.   just means a tab.

It's not a tab, it's a non-breaking space.

It's 2014 though. I don't know why anyone would use nbsp.

i always assumed it was a tab because its normally in place of tabs

If you don't want a line break then the only thing you can use is a non-breaking space
otherwise there are auto line breaks

(On the other hand I have no idea why you wouldnt want it to auto-line-break)
