well a lot of the people on tumblr claiming to have triggers are just using it to say "this upsets me"
but people with conditions like PTSD do actually have triggers, and that's what the word's really for. I feel like using it for anything less is really inappropriate

one time my friend was fighting a group of 5 year olds and 8 year olds
he did not do well at the fight

I cannot determine a meaning or point from these songs other than an enjoyment of going deaf. I don't like post-hardcore because of the crushed nut vocals and the generic riffs, but I can determine a meaning or purpose to exist from the few songs I've heard. I don't like Nickelback because they're generic and boring, but I can recognize them as music. Same for A$AP's Rocky and Ferg, boring as stuff, but I still consider them music. The the first track I linked I can't even consider music, the second just barely, only because there's a discernible drum beat that the other instrumentalists don't even stay on. They're literally both just noise. There's no point in defending the existence of either other than to obliterate ears and scare the piss out of people with.
