Author Topic: -- ID/Name lookup --  (Read 3046 times)

So I've been messing around teaching myself other programming languages and ended up making a id database in the progress.
Seeing as there isn't (as far as ime aware) another public available one i thought I would put this up for you guys.

Website itself isn't much to behold, but ime no expert with css/etc so meh.

As of writing, it has 9455 id's. But if you want to help out collect data there is a link to a mod at the bottom of the website.

Please make me aware of any issues/possible improvements so i can hopefully fix them :)

Edit regarding data- some of the especially for older users is from, previous servers I have hosted and some from rtb's list, and as such may be dated (sorry).  So if anyone loads the mod up on there server it is helpful
I may implement it listing the result as 'unreliable' if the data is over a month old.

There is also a tool to use this in game, so if I work out gui's I could make a in game lookup if wanted?

Regarding name history I will go about trying to implement it tonight.

This shows my old name.

because hammereditor is so reliable!
this, his database doesn't have badspot in it. or kompressor. or myself, actually. all the first time seen dates are wrong too.

meanwhile gambsy found me as well as my brother just fine.

This shows a name I had 2 years ago.

also apparently kompressor doesn't exist

ID name is outdated, it's showing my name from like 2 years ago.

This shows my name about 2-3 years ago

Thank you, although there is some issues I've been searching for an ID searcher.

Mine is also showing from like 2 years ago

I suggest you purge your list and start data collection again

because hammereditor is so reliable!
1: I think you're referring to HammerHost, not "Hammereditor".
2: HammerHost has had 99.50% system uptime and 99.92% network uptime in May. In April during the network problems, I said that the trend of downtime was only temporary. Seeing the data of this month and last month, I hope I have proven myself, haven't I? Statistics don't lie.

That's just McAfee being stupid and marking my site as suspicious because it doesn't contain some meta tags or isn't frequently visited or whatever.

Hammer editor tries to defend himself for the millionth time.

Hammer editor tries to defend himself for the millionth time.
This time I'm defending myself with hard facts! What the hell is wrong with self-defense when you are flaming me??

you should add some name history to IDs.

any new name gets attached to that ID and stored
