Author Topic: wtf is with my Flash and Shockwave  (Read 2482 times)

Yeah well its happening on Firefox and Chromium so idk
I've tried logging off and back on, going on google+ and I cleared my history. I might think its shockwave because I've been getting repeated crashes from it, but that might just be chromium

Hmm.. well the best thing I can do is link you to a ton of testing sites, hopefully they return some helpful results.

Shockwave Test
Flash Test
Java Test

But honestly I doubt its a plugin issue.  It just sounds like some kind of cookies issue.  Hopefully it resolves itself soon, its weird that it occurs on both browsers though..

Check the edits to my post.

EDIT: It seems there are more with no replies, so this might not actually be useful, sorry.

Double EDIT: Shamelessly taken from the internet

Find the “Flash” or “Shockwave Flash” listing on the Plug-ins page and click the corresponding “Enable” button.
Close all Chromium windows and restart the browser.

like how, right after apologizing to everyone for being a jerk and all, I find out that you were gonna try to use something I told you (that was already publicly available) as "blackmail" of some kind, or whatever it was supposed to be, and beyond that, when I ask you about it, instead of admitting to it you just lie about it and say you didn't mean any harm??

He wasn't being condescending, you're just looking for a reason to yell at people. Please stop.

Try using a different browser. Maybe try Chrome (not Chromium)? Chromium is rather unstable, of course, being a development version and all.

Are you using Linux? http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2014/01/chromium-npapi-flash-dropped-april-2014
