Author Topic: What does "DM" mean  (Read 1284 times)

yeah, im obviously new to blockland, and i hear DM used all the time, and i cant figure out what it means.

all i can come up with is "dungeon master" from when ive played dungeons and dragons role play, but that doesnt sound right...

"dongeon match"? maybe... hehe

any help is appriceated...

DM is short for Death Match, which usually means fighting/warring of sorts is going on.

It can also be short for Dungeon Master, but that's not usually found on Blockland.

i actully havn't seen and dungeon related builds, going to look into that then...

I did a small thing with it with a few friends back in RTB. It isn't feasable now, considering not everyone in my group has $20 to spare for the game.

ok. thanks. i figured it had something to do with combat, just basing from the context it was used in.

i thought that if you have a LAN setup, you only need one authenticated, full version for everyone to run it... :o

It doesn't allow Hamachi for LAN (5. ips), so that is why it would be unfeasable. It also doesn't think my school network is a LAN either, considering it uses 10. ips for the computers.

I'm just glad I made my home network use the standard 192. IPs, so I can be considered LAN when I connect to my own dedicated server hosted on my desktop.
