This is the worst ban reason I have ever heard of. They're two different players with different personalities. Yes, it is easier to ban an ID, all you do is go into a menu and click a button. For IP banning, you have to figure out this long number and manually enter a command.

You can't just pass of the permanent banning of a user as "well sorry I don't give a stuff about the repercussions of my actions." If you actually wanted Pacnet and only Pacnet banned, you would have just banned him like any other person would. Instead, you went out of your way to make sure Hammer was included as well. Give me a good reason why you IP ban; the only time it's better than a regular one is when the starfish is so pathetic that they have multiple accounts.

No sane problem user is going to use their home IP address if they are willing to spend $10 on an alt account. I don't understand why you still think IP-bans are more effective than BL_ID ones. IPBan bans the IP and BLID, so either way it's effective. And not everyone uses a VPN service or even get a new IP when they do it again.

This add-on will not help at all if the troll decides to use both a different BL_ID and a different IP address. Most users who have been trolls or problem users for a long time are going to have at least one alternate account.

And not everyone uses a VPN service or even get a new IP when they do it again.

Pacnet certainly knows how to get access to a new IP address.
