OP is butthurt over deer trolling him. He'll get over it.

I want the beartrap so I can catch the deer and rip it's forgetin' head off.

How do you expect to catch the exact same deer?

Well, sometimes the deer will be in the brush, not able to be seen, and they will jump out.
I hope you have insurance.

"drive better" yeah ok alyx
what else are you supposed to do besides brake? if you were a smart driver you would know that swerving to avoid a deer is a terrible idea

Hit the brakes and don't swerve into on coming traffic.

Read above

HIT THE BRAKES AND DONT SWERVE AT ALL, IF YOU HIT THE DEER TOO BAD
???
if its in the country most likely its a 2 lane road
one side is on coming traffic; this is self explanatory
on the other side is most likely a ditch, which getting THAT repaired costs way more than a deer hit
and if you're going fast enough, you also have a chance of flipping or rolling of you swerve
moral of the story dont loving swerve
its better to hit a deer than hit a tree or an oncoming car or flipping your loving car

how are you supposed to drive better when your only logical option is to hit the brakes, i don't think there's levels of skill involved when it comes to hitting the brakes

only if hitting the brakes isn't the first thing that comes to mind

then there's a problem.
