Author Topic: Are there any workarounds for pasting Unicode into Blockland?  (Read 652 times)

I noticed that whenever you paste Unicode characters into Blockland, they always come up as question marks. I thought it was just a rendering thing for fonts without said characters, but after pasting them out of Blockland, they are actually question marks. Is there any workaround for this, or does Torque in all its crappy goodness not support Unicode at all?

Most likely the latter.

Most likely the latter.
Ugh, Torque isn't even that old, in comparison. It was made in 2001 and last updated in 2007, and Unicode was originally created in 1987 and came into more widespread use in 1991. That's over a decade's difference. You would think by then an engine would support the most widely used character encoding. :P

Guess I'll just have to make some Runic prints instead.
