"You make a good point. We shall spilt the cut 50/50, if you work with me."
"Agreed."
Arseny and Vanya step outside the bunker into the rookie camp.
"We should probably start asking around the camp where we might find such a man. Also, we probably have to get aquatinted with these other people, we're probably going to depend on them for a long time."

"I'll figure it out. Good day."
Vanya leaves, looking for the described man.
Sidorovich looks at the new man, "Alright, alright, let's see..." he said, putting on a pair of reading glasses and looking at a dossier on his desk, "Alright, I have a delivery deal I need done, it's at the small house just past the railroad bridge.  There are Ukrainian Military soldiers standing guard there, so you need to pay them to look the other way.  I don't care what with, it's your problem now.  I'll pay you when you come back with my delivery." he said.

Another man traversed through the hole. I positioned myself to eavesdrop.

"Is it possible to get around them somehow?" I ask Sid.

As the two men exit, I begin to enter to take my turn when another man walks in, almost as if he hadn't seen me standing there at all. He begins conversing with 'Sid' instantly, not even batting an eye at me. "Oh, right, yeah, tell me to be patient and then pull THIS bullstuff, yeah, nuh-uh, not letting that one slide." I grumble to myself as I walk in behind the man. "Is it possible to get around them somehow?" the man asks Sid. I stand directly behind this man, within two feet, staring at the back of his head, waiting.

"Agreed."

"We should do that, but first, we should check the Stalker PDA."

The old man fails to answer vocally. He shoots me a subtle look that just says, "It's your problem now,", and returns to looking over his dossier and a ledger book.

I shoulder the TOZ, and turn to see a man behind me. I give him a neutral, empty look as I pass by, heading back up to the surface. Once I get there, I sit down opposite of the line and take out the PDA, looking at the map, trying to figure out how I'm going to "pay off" USS soldiers with an outdated monetary system and no commodities anybody would want.

"Bitch." I mutter to the man as he eyes me down, possibly taking a mental note to shoot me later. Either way, I'm finally where I need to be. "You need stuff dead? I get stuff dead. I make stuff dead, you give me directions and a good feeding. Are we on the same page here?"

I begin to familiarize myself with the PDA. I look at the map, and notice there are overlays that can be shown. I activate all the overlays and they show names of locations, topography, anomaly fields, hazardous locations, etc. I look at one place I was eyeing earlier to cross the the railroad at. It was the tunnel, but it as marked as a hazardous location. Upon further inspection, it is shown that "Electro" anomalies run rampant in the tunnel, making it nearly impassable. The only option is to go under the bridge.

I research the bridge checkpoint, using the limited and slow Internet access available here. It seems that it's commander, Major Kuznetsov, can be frequently payed to allow passage. Most stalkers report that he charges about 500 Rubles for crossing. I only have about 700, but perhaps I can strike a deal with him and get what I need anyway. Perhaps I won't get all my pay in the end, but it is what it is.

It's all I can do.

Sidorovich furrowed his brow, "What is that, French?  Anyways, you seem like you're eager to get something done, so I'll give you something to get done," he said, grabbing a different dossier, nodding, "Yeah, okay.  One of my clients needs information on the military checkpoint just down the road from here.  So here, take these," he stopped, setting a pair of binoculars on the counter, "And go scope it out.  Take notes, stay for an hour or two and make note of their patrol patterns, what they're armed with, how many there are, all that good stuff, yeah?" Sid waved him off with a hand, "Good hunting." he said.

Vanya checks his PDA for the man.
