Seedies are lined up at the bridge preparing their weapons.

"Woah, what's going on here?"

"Woah, what's going on here?"
The man shouting orders turns and faces Leonard, "Get in line!  A group of monolith have been spotted in the area, I don't know how or why they got out of the Pripyat area!"

I move into line and mutter, "Great way to start the day".

"Yes sir," I reply to the major.

I go up the road to the small house, the Major must have told the soldiers something over the radio. The briefcase is outside on the steps. I take it. It is rather large, and feels heavy enough to be full of something.

The tension in the air is almost tangible as I return to the bridge on my way to the village.

Sorry guys I've had a relapse on my skyrim addiction.

Update will come, I promise.

"Yes sir," I reply to the major.

"Hey!  Hey stalker!" someone shouts to you as you come near the town.

I move into line and mutter, "Great way to start the day".
"Alright seedies!  This is your first major assignment!  Your mission is to track down and eliminate this Monolith squad!  Any information you find on their corpses bring it back to me!  Seize their weapons and ammunition as well!" the man shouts.  He then waits for a response from everyone, most everyone in line shouts, "Yes sir!"

After painfully scrawling my interpretation of the checkpoint onto the paper, I let out an overly large sigh, and push the paper forward. "I had to repeat the movement patterns to myself about seven times for each man. "Alright Sid, that's the checkpoint."

I stop and look at them, suitcase in hand.

"Yeah, need something?" I reply back to him.

"Alright, alright," he said, taking the paper and placing it in the dossier.  He then takes a small wad of rubles wrapped in a rubber band, "there's your pay."

I stop and look at them, suitcase in hand.

"Yeah, need something?" I reply back to him.
"Yeah, Sid sent me to get the case.  He said you would have it, it's my shipment.  He said to go to him for pay." He said, then held his hands out for it.

I'm not sure if I trust the man.

"I'll just take it to Sid's, I'll be blatantly honest, I don't know who to trust, sorry,"

"Nah, come on bro!  Don't worry, I ordered the thing, just give it to me."

"Right, I need directions, not so much pay." I respond, tucking the money into one of my coat pockets.

"Directions?  Where?"

"Nah, I'm sorry. I'm just going to give it to Sid."
