Author Topic: Can I transfer blockland to another steam account?  (Read 4595 times)

So I transferred my blockland key to my old steam account. But now I want to take it out of my old steam account and transfer it to my new steam account.
Is this possible?

Download blockland (zipped). Extract zip to "steam/steamapps/common/blockland". Add a steam shortcut to blocklandlauncher.exe. Close enough

Why do you need 2 steam accounts anyways?

4 options:
-VAC Banned. Obvious reasons.
-Someone is hunting him down with his Steam Community Native ID- which he can do nothing about of except make a new account. However I doubt this is the case.
-He received a new account from someone and it has different games that may or may not be better.
-He might've put a dumb username or whatever at the initial creation of the account, at the point in which if he accidentally logs out, he might as well as be locked out of the account forever.

Or he was flagged for fraud, also possible.

If your key is revoked, you'll have a useless copy of Blockland sitting in your library that you cannot use. You can't buy a new copy either. I would also like to be able to remove my copy of Blockland from my old library.
yup, if your key gets revoked or you get banned from many servers it would be nice to "unregister" the game

If you get banned from say Modern Warfare 3, you still have the game. It doesn't "unregister". Sucks you got banned, your fault.

Yes, we are perfectly aware. Nobody is contesting either of these things, the topic is asking for a way to unregister, not an explanation as to why we are unable.

Badspot stated in 2011 that we're allowed to purchase as many chances as we like and it would be helpful to see some features upholding this policy in regard to steam users.

At this point I think it's in Valve's hands, not Badspot's.

Didn't Badspot say at some point that Steam would simply be a replacement for the Blockland Launcher? It would be extremely convenient if we could just simply get a key with our purchase, doesn't steam have this facility already in place? Or is that also in the hands of Valve?

Your account is basically your key if you bought it via steam.

Noted. Is further innovation on this concept in the interest of convenience too much to ask?

The same applies to VAC Ban as far as I know.
Sure - you get multiple chances as much as you want if you buy the game(s) again, but you /must/ make a new account.
It's applicable in this case as well.
