Hosting a Dedicated Server on Linux VPS?

Hey guys. I have rented a VPS two months ago. I have done nothing with it since one month and it's standing alone collecting dust. Can you guys give me advice on setting up a BL Dedicated Server on the VPS? The OS is Debian.
