So I just got blockland 6/22/14 and I saw it was working when I put in my Key but when I tried to join a server I got this: Server has dropped the connection. Server could not very your BlockLand ID. Please help I use DishNET
1. Don't put your authentication key in screenshots, even partially (I have removed the screenshot for you).
2. Satellite internet basically doesn't work for online games. The satellites are in geosynchronous orbit - 26,000+ miles in altitude. This means the signal has to travel at least 104,000 miles to go from your computer to the server and back. Light travels at 186,000 miles per second - that means at
minimum there will be a 560 millisecond delay, which is virtually unplayable. Realistically you'll probably get 750ms-3000ms delay which is beyond the design specs of the game. It just won't work.
I've heard that some satellite systems send TCP (web) requests via the satellite and UDP (game) request via a dialup connection. This would work, but then the IP you connect to the game with isn't the same you authed with, so your auth check fails.
