Although on this subject, I don't get why gender/love issues are lumped together with loveuality. Having an acronym is fine (LGBTQ covers everyone anyway. Queer is accepted as an umbrella term for non-heteroloveuals), and the name you suggested is worse.

Because people aren't allowed to marry who they love
Because kids get kicked out of their house for being born a certain way
Because people are killed due to them simply being gay, trans, etc
Because there are special "reorientation" centers which use abusive tactics to attempt to cure someone who isn't sick
Because they simply want to be accepted
