Ugh, they do seem like real starfishs
If you know them from school, find the accelerated program kids and be friends with them because they're cooler.

not only do I disagree with you, but I have had experience with the accelerated program cool kids in my class of 2018:
they are loving starfishs to anyone they don't feel deserving enough to have their edgy intelligience
it may be only my ECP-kid-starfishs, but I tried to be friends with them, but it always turned out to be a one sided debate questioning my own intelligience and social status, leading to insults etc.
of course you may be a different kind of "amazing smart young kids", but either way, this is what I experience
