Go for the PC, it's 5x better than any console out there.
oh ya a pentium + some voodoo gpu is better than the ps3 and xbox 360. yeah lets not get ahead of ourselves

HDDs are so cheap now you might as well.
If you're going to be playing a lot games, you'll go through the space, what with many games taking 30gb+

Don't. Build it yourself, it will be at least 25% cheaper.
Actually building your PC more often than not won't save any money because the pre-made computer companies buy parts in bulk instead of individually.
