Linux Dedicated Authentication problem

I am trying to run a Dedicated server on Linux (Ubuntu 13.04), everything is fine until the authentication:

Can somebody give me some help? I am using the dedi script by Greek2me

Greek2me's script doesn't do this. I had this issue, and adding -a fixed it.

addind -a did not fix it for me, also i noticed that when the game console starts it says "unable to open file "prefs.cs" for writing" many times...?

no, it fixes the prefs.cs issue but the authentication problem still persists

well, that was a separate issue.

i had this issue when i first started out, and i don't quite remember how i solved it

I already set the key with setKey(); before

I'm actually using 14.04 (was using 12.04) and it works very well. Maybe it's related to your version?
