I ain't dead just been sick recently and deadlines been popping up and procrastination, I'll see if I can squeeze some work in the next few days.

with those kind of guns, i'd use a striker-12 instead of an AA-12

Yeah just hiatus'd for a while and like I said I was feeling sick (for about a month) but feeling better and sorta feeling like working on this again, may just go with what BlockAlpha did with his playertypes, but include specific weapons for em so they pose right.

Sorry I haven't worked on this in a while I tend to work on something then get bored with it after a while :P

Doublepost/bump here but I'm thinking of taking this in a bit of a different direction, I'm thinking of just ditching the class idea, I'll still keep all the models though but maybe I'll make a pack of weapons just for this mod, so by themselves they feel iffy.

What I mean is, make a whole bunch of guns and let people use them with the playertypes so that way you can fiddle around as much as you want and I can submit more than just one gun, hell if you just like the appearance of a character but not the weapon they use you could swap it out, I'll still think of adding bonuses to certain playertypes, like heavy guys having more health etc. Not to mention I do wanna keep things fair as possible so I'll have to set certain guidelines for weapon types, like all bolt action snipers are powerful and very accurate but have tracer rounds and a long reload or something. Plus I think by making weapon categories you can easily build characters for what you want and what scale you are going for map wise.

Also I think I'll remove the firebug and let the flamethrower stay as a heavy weapon along with LMGs and Full Auto Shotguns (Because AA-12s Yo)

It's just something I've been thinking of in the last while and was also sort of the reason i went all hiatusy, currently I'm looking back into starting this up again, it's a real pain sometimes when you look for help on certain stuff but people have another software or no tutorials are present too :c

Don't freak out or anything it's just an idea anyways.

That is a good idea IMO. Allows for less restrictions and more fun game modes. Something that came into my mind was where the fast player types can be armed with explosives and its just an explosive run in a game mode or something.

Mhm not to mention I can really mess around with stuff and I can accept alot of wackier things hell if someone does want a friggin throwing knfie or crossbow I could add it but it's up to the host if they wanted to use it or not.

Heh I guess I'll have to give the OP a major overhaul :P

I think the new direction is a great choice.


I'm thinking of adding some sort of Bolt action hunting rifle sort of thing too along with some "scavenger" sort of looking fellows because Frosty really likes The Last of Us and we don't seem to have enough rebel or survivor looking player types on here.

Plus you could use em for some sort of Revolution TDM sort of deal (army vs pissed civies)

The rifle itself would be like a scopeless bolt action sniper, powerful enough to instantly headshot something but with the slow reload speed and horrible cqc situations. May make that a staple for any other scopeless, bolt rifles I make aswell.

I'm still gonna include buildable stuff btw heh, so far I'm thinking of sandbag walls to duck behind, maybe some sort of diggable trench, a watch/snipertower supportive stuff like ammo depots, medical tents, radio towers* bigass machine gun for defense aswell with some form of artillery or mortar, I guess landmines may aswell fit into some sort of trap category, I'm guessing bunkers may aswell be in here too and stuff like dragon's teeth (for stopping vehicles) I really should look more into what people can construct on the battlefield too.

*The radio towers would act as some sort of spotting device, useful for cheeki snipers, the closer an opposing player would get to one their name would showup at farther distances allowing friendlies to ambush them, maybe the tower itself will take a while to build or be really weak to stuff, I've even though about letting players take them over and switch it around to their side, maybe it hides friendly player names or something?
