uh

framerate is one of those things that is most definitely not opinion based

not even remotely
The actual framerate, of course, is not an opinion, but you can have an opinion OF the framerate.

Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram ran at 60fps on the Dreamcast.

But the Dreamcast was better than every other console that generation anyway.

Don't forget, the Sonic series on the Genesis also had 60fps.

It says it's using it when possible. Which means 30fps and 60fps actually do look the same :P

EDIT: http://30vs60.com/ shows a side-by-side comparison. They look exactly the same.

Either your visual cortex or your computer are loving garbage. Because if you cannot see the difference between 30 and 60 and you are actually seeing 30/60 framerates, with your monitor's refresh rate capable of rendering that, your visual cortex is literally dysfunctional.

Can you see the difference now?

It must be my computer then, because I only get like 5fps on Pecon's Boss Battles.

With shaders off.

Whoever is saying that you can't notice a difference in fps, that's wrong. 60fps has way less choppiness compared to 30fps when it came to screen movement and motion.

does anybody know when we'll be able to upload videos like this?

Ohey a big stream of water flowing smoothly, neat.

what the forget

WHAT THE forget

does anybody know when we'll be able to upload videos like this?
I think HTML 5 players are already standard, which have speed controls as well, telling you that it is indeed streaming 60fps.

Well how the hell does Wii U manage 60FPS with inferior hardware?
because nintendo knows what they're loving doing

funfact:
the nes was 60fps.

TL probably has his monitor set to a 30hz setting so he can't even see 60fps.

why is it that in all FPS gameplay trailers/official pictures the character is never aiming, even when they are firing at a guy several yards away with a pistol

why is it that in all FPS gameplay trailers/official pictures the character is never aiming, even when they are firing at a guy several yards away with a pistol

because every triple-A FPS producer hires complete numbskulls to make their trailers
