Depends on the site you do it on. Either way, it's a scam, dont do them. It's common sense.

and before you say I have no common sense for doing it myself, that was like two years ago.

Pretty stupid getting free money for people getting you links. Adfly, I don't mind that, though, that is a huge difference.
