other things.. probably gone

Or terminate the process and delete the files.
does he even know how to do that

What confuses me is that they'd put the name of the RAT right into the code itself... talk about terrible coding. Whoever made this was an idiot lol
markey fell for it

does he even know how to do that

he ran a mysterious .jar to "find out what it does"

of course he doesn't

So then....back them up?
This probably isn't like a virus that infects all your virus, it's probably just a piece of software that can be (with great difficulty, perhaps) removed

Good job, Dren, you've caused Markey to kill himself with his own stupidity

apparently it comes with its own uninstaller

drendran is the winner
just in general, he wins everything

disconnect your computer from the internet now and run the scans in safe mode and stuff. the longer it's online, the more the can steal out of it; pretty much it's now a ticking time bomb
doing so should partially save your ass if they didn't already steal the everything out of your PC

change all your online accounts' passwords and stuff (obviously not on the compromised PC) and ensure two factor authentication is on (if you didn't use this, you really need to do this next time; almost nothing to lose and a huge gain in security)

also, your computer is pretty much permanently compromised from now on, so you might want to prepare to boot and nuke it and reinstall everything to ensure that it will be safe for future uses (not 100% required but we're aren't talking about adware or something)

Today was a good forgetin' day.
