The skullcandy isn't what I suggested, I'm just saying it's not as stuff as everyone likes to think. Plus, you've completely ignored what I actually did suggest, which is well recieved by a lot of headphone enthusiasts for their price.

Also, there is no reason to hate on someone jsut because they have a pair of headphones you don't like.

you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about whatsoever...

you seem to be stereotyping all headsets for their mere aesthetics, rather than judging them based off their sound quality...
as i said before you are just stuffting on headsets for their sound quality when in reality you have not used ANY of the headsets you are judging...

headsets are more centered towards gaming, and if his primary purpose then he should go towards one

just because something is centered on gaming doesnt mean it performs the best for it

in fact a GIGANTIC majority of gaming headsets are utter stuff for that application

well for the price range hes asking an MDR v6 is not that great for gaming from my experience

but on the other hand, judging ALL headsets based off stereotypes and with no experience using them, is wrong.

Both mine and my brother's turtle beach z11s lasted maybe a year each before the part of the wire connected to the headphone got all messed up
They both broke the same way through normal use
My current set (a skull candy, don't buy these) has a detachable wire so that won't happen

Well we can expect that without the leds the headset would be a lot cheaper

I never said it was, that was someone else's suggestion, my suggestion was the Superlux HD668B + a modmic (or a Tascam TH-02/TEAC CT-H02 + modmic if isolation was required)

and I'm not "judging" headsets it is genuinely true that a huge portion of the headset market is utter garbage

they're usually uncomfortable, have stuffty mics, sound like stuff, or some combination of all three
