Author Topic: Rapids ChromeFX Effect  (Read 3466 times)

Not sure if this was already known

Found this nifty graphical bug by painting an 8x Rapids brick with ChromeFX. This only seems to work with shaders Minimum and up.
It makes some sort of spinning square? I'm not sure.

Having a group of them makes a nice little pattern.

They also play around with shadows

I don't know, go make a groovy dance floor or something

I just tried this.

It appears to only work with shaders on.

didn't read OP

Reminds me of that graphical bug with the transparent 1x1s that makes a big cicle pattern or something. I forgot most of it, so if someone else remembers...

couldnt be because everyone could see it

** Click Likes** on the button, damn it... Where the likes Button... I mean this a button

does the effect move in the same direction that the rapid block would move the player?

Wow, I don't think anyone has ever noticed this neat bug before. Nice discovery!

This sort of looks like a rotating 4-d cube on the moving thing...

Why didn't you use APNG instead to make the image?
