Hurricane fired a missile at one of the tornadoes at the top of the page.
oops
It hits it too and now both Tornadoes are injured.

I line up a radar lock on the damaged Tornado and fire a missile before hitting the afterburner to get within gun range.
It goes down and you can see the pilot ejecting before the plane entirely explodes.
The second Tornado reaches missile range and fires one at the transports, which responds with flares of its own before squawking about a lack of air support.

Hurricane is offline so he can't finish up the second Tornado >:V

I carefully aim my cannon at the last Tornado and fire two bursts of cannon fire before sweeping left to check the proximity of the Tigersharks to my location.

The radar warning receiver screams as I'm spiked by another fighter coming in from behind. Just a little longer...

I tuck my tail in between my legs and pitch down for another full power dive. I can't throw off the Viggen, but I can still draw him away.

but you have a climbing advantage over a stock SB-37

The one going after Obrad broke off, he's probably chasing me or you. As far as I'm concerned, Obrad has air-to-air missiles and he's freed up.

pretty much everything but the Tornado is after him, you should probably give him an order so you actually have a shot of taking one of them down *wink*

I carefully aim my cannon at the last Tornado and fire two bursts of cannon fire before sweeping left to check the proximity of the Tigersharks to my location.
The Tornado attempts to evade to the left, only to have its starboard wing shredded. The pilot abandons his burning craft to spiral down into the jungle (doesnt he look like such an inviting target there). One of the Tigersharks is looking for a new target, and the other is chasing you. It appears to have found a lock.

He dives after you and your HUD or whatever warns you of six incoming missiles as well as an energy spike coming from his plane.

Stock is for slaves.

qwepir can my GAU-8 take out aerial targets?
do i have anything that can take down aerial targets?

Of course it can, but good luck actually staying on target against more nimble opponents.
I mean if you were trying to shoot down a C-130 or a Heavy Command Cruiser or a zeppelin then the GAU-8 would be an good choice of gun, but most fighter jets will be able to evade an A-10.

As for if you have anything else to take on aerial targets, did you bring any heatseeking missiles or something?

um
sure
"Bring one of them near me, I'll shoot 'em down with a missile!"

I activate the ECM jammer and suddenly dump speed, turning towards the SB-37 and firing an IR missile at the fighter before diving to resume evasive maneuvers against the F-20 on my tail. The jammer interferes with the onboard radar, so I have to rely on visual confirmation to spot enemy aircraft, at least the missile alert still works.

"I've got one on my tail Cap, but it looks like Cowboy needs your help more than I do."  I break hard, hoping to force the Tigershark to overshoot.

The missile warning tone blares once more. I look in my mirror to find six exhaust trails and a faint light coming from the Viggen...

... stuff! If I don't time this right, I'm forgeted!

I keep my vision glued to the mirror as I level off. Sweat is pouring all over my brow. I begin a shallow turn and look behind me, carefully watching for the incoming projectiles.

Now! I quickly bank in the other direction and pull a downward-spiraling high-G maneuver, dropping chaff and flares all throughout.

Did I ever tell anyone I was an atheist? I'm going to have to take it back. If I wasn't praying before, I sure as hell am now!
