Well I have a multirole. What do you have again?

Oh, I'm rolling with the same exact aircraft as you.

"Try it out now," one of the mechanics say.

I turn on master electronics and begin testing the controls. The aileron doesn't move.

It turns out, they only fixed the navigation lights. A fuel truck pulls up next to the plane and they give me a full tank. After which, I thank them, taxi to the runway, and take off. I head for the point where the tanker for the return trip should be at, hoping that my comrades are doing alright.

Let's see if Qwep lets us reinforce the guys in combat.

I think we could have spent a little more time with the Cold-war era aircraft.

After mysteriously disappearing off base for a week, Tom returns.
He goes over to the mess hall for some food.

HE LIVES

Wait, Mark?

Character Name: Tom Painter
[Character Age: 24
Piloting Style: A-G
Personality: Mature. Sometimes, but he is always ready to do stuff and willing to help.
Callsign: Lefty
Backstory*: One of Mark Safford's good friends, he persuaded him to join the (air force?)
edit: changed form mark to tom

Current AO is approximately 1,500 kilometers out from Valhalla airbase*. At top speed you would make it in 36 minutes. This is not accounting for mid-air refuels so that you would remain combat-capable when you are in the AO. So bump that up 45 minutes. That is a 45 minute gap for the Huit forces to hit the dockyards. And this is a low estimate for your flight time. A very, very low estimate.
God forbid you take the A-10s.

*This is a rough estimate and should not be taken too seriously as I am too lazy to actually do the math calculating the distance. Also I have forgotten the formulas.

RE-EVALUATION:
Assuming all of you take Mirage 4000s, your flight time would be 36 minutes, 48 seconds. This is assuming:
-Straight flight path
-Unlimited fuel
-Constant flight at top speed
MiG-29s flying at top speed will reach the AO in 37 minutes, 30 seconds. Again, assuming you cheated like above.
F/A-18 Hornets drastically increase flight time to, rounding up, 47 minutes.
Bringing in an A-10 would take over 2 hours.
So it is highly unlikely that you will be able to deploy on time.

I wouldn't know because the map doesn't really help at all

Obrad locks onto a Challenger tank, firing an A-G-M at it. He then moves over and fires cannon rounds at it to ensure destruction. Then, he locks onto the other Challenger and fires 2 A-G-M.
The first tonk gets merely immobilized, with the second getting blown to smithereens.

Misfit flight shoots down two of the choppers, and a Mercanan marine squad hiding out in a building demolishes one of the IFVs with a rocket launcher.

Current enemy forces in the AO:
1 SEPECAT Jaguar strike craft
1 Naval Frigate
5 Littoral Combat Ships
1 Tiger Attack Helicopter

Targets requiring immediate attention:
EVERYTHING.

Targets requiring immediater attention:
1 Challenger Tank
2 Warrior IFVs
2 Bronco Amphibious Carriers

My apologies, I couldn't quite make an actual map scale thing because I'm not a very good cartographer.

oh yeah I put in an inquiry at the logistics department to see if you guys have any electronic warfare craft

None are currently available to Mjolnir flight.

I may have overlooked EW aircraft.

Can I put in a transfer request to Mobile Infantry

Can I put in a transfer request to Mobile Infantry

they'll get there even more slowly, unless you've considered jumping out of an SR-71

oh no I've discovered that bomb/launcher racks are a thing
