"We were unable to find anything in Antokolskiy's quarters, or his locker. We did, however, manage to find a crate of contraband. In a closet. The janitor found it. It is possible we have a smuggler in the base."
"Thank you. Now," the CO turns to Obrad, gesturing for his assistant to close the door. "You are going to tell me who these 'contacts' are, and until you do, you are not leaving this room. Are we clear, Antokolskiy."

"Sir, I didn't put any contraband in a closet."

The CO's assistant pipes up, "The security team has a sense of humor..."
"And I do not. Start talking."

I flip through the newsletter, a piece announcing Valkyrie's replacement pilots, another on the local Combat Search and Rescue, and yet another talking about the IRIS-T missile used by the navy.

"Excellent. So you put contraband somewhere, am I correct?"

"Mjolnir 1-4 to Valhalla tower, do you have the new maneuverability testing software set up yet?"

"Excellent. So you put contraband somewhere, am I correct?"

"Sir, let me explain this to you. I know the penalties if contraband is found with me. I get demoted and possibly imprisoned for a while. But, let me explain to you why you won't do that. Steele and Daxton are missing, presumed in slavery. That's 2 down. You grounded Simon for backtalking you. That's another one down. You ground me or imprison me, that's another one. That's 4 people down for a month. That leaves Mjolinir flight with 4 people, all of which are the same rank, and no one can take lead. So, you can do that and leave the war severely undermanned, or we can forget all of this, I get rid of the contraband, and we leave Mjolinir flight with more people to fight the war, and with a leader. So, it's your decision sir, but may I remind you, we just lost 2 pilots to the enemy, and we lost a lot in the harbor."

I open the canopy on my Hornet and take off my helmet before climbing down to the hangar floor. I walk back to the barracks and see the security team. What the forget?
I hope the security team doesn't find the female-specific medication

I finish richarding around with the M4A1, and walk back to the barracks. I see Victor, and a security team.
"What the forget is going on?"

I bring the palm of my hand to my face before replying. "I don't know, must be about the crate of guns that the Captain brought in."

"Well I don't know what he did with them. I just helped him carry the box of weapons.. Hell, I'll probably get grounded too. forget!"
