Steam freezes when opening library/anything else

Lately, steam has been getting useless (for me)
The only thing that opens up is the friends list, which is my "favorite" tab and always opens up to startup
whenever i go to library, or trying to chat, steam crashes.
Any way to fix? ;~;

Apart from submitting a support ticket, you might wanna try deleting everything in your Steam folder except steam.exe and steamapps.

Can confirm this actually works. Steam will just redownload everything, replacing bad files with shiny new ones.
