dude, there's no need to worry. the winds don't do anything. the last time the winds did anything to the house was when a tree fell on our back room, which even then was due to waterlogging in the roots of the tree. and the heavy rain is nothing to be scared of, sure maybe you won't be able to see on the highway and your flight might get delayed but you'll be fine. and power outages usually don't last long but they're creepy. you'll totally live.

I was referring to the rain. How am I supposed to set off fireworks.
