I just started reading HP Lovecraft's first book. The loving second paragraph is literally explaining a how good a loving drill is. I say that's pretty spooky. Seriously, Lovecraft, people read your books for sp00ks and seeing how the gods waking and stuff like that, not your loving antarctic expedition.

Yeah, I have a copy of a Necronomicon (Not an actual one, but a collection of HPLs finest stories. Seriously, the book I own that contains those stories is literally called Necronomicon)

The Case of Charles Dexter Ward was my favourite one.

Also, I think you are reading At the Mountains of Madness. It gets better over time, so just be patient and keep reading
