I don't use lxde and I was commenting on TheBlackParrot's desktop. I use GNOME 3 so I have to use a GTK3 theme unless I want everything looking like Windows 98.

oh, thought it was an actual issue you were having. but regardless lxappearance will set the GTK theme no matter what wm/de you're using. well, at least for WMs it does. haven't used it in gnome though
