Author Topic: Anti-aliasing For Blockland?  (Read 2042 times)

I've been wondering, is there a way to add Anti-aliasing into blockland? And so far my searches have come up dry, so can anybody help with this (Or badspot could make another shader update and add it in :3) but for now, does anybody know a simple way or mod?
SOLVED
For Nvidia look below 2/3
For AMD use catalyst and go to Gaming>3d Application and change everything you want!

With certain graphics cards you can force anti aliasing on specific applications

According to this post with Nvidia graphics cards you can with the nvidia control panel

Well with nVidia drivers you can easily go to the control panel and enable them (for me it's up to 32x), there should be an alternative with AMD drivers as well (I dunno if there is one really). Though, when I enabled it, it smoothed the chat and all the GUI's, so I wouldn't really recommend it.

Are you using FXAA?

Are you using FXAA?
Oh, so it was FXAA that was causing it? Alrighty, thanks

Really, does anybody know anything for a AMD graphics card?

You could try looking in the AMD catalyst (or however it's called) or google how to force AA with ADM drivers

I found something but I'm not sure if its working, will I need to restart blockland?

I needed to restart for changes to take effect, yes

I just noticed this but catalyst will let me force tessellation! Round blockheads anybody?

(mine is in Russian so I can't say how they are exactly but this should give a rough estimate)
Go to the control panel, then choose 3D parameters on the left, go into program specific options and there should be something like Anti-Aliasing - parameters, with gamma correction and FXAA above it and transparency and mode bellow
