I go camping on school trips with our cadet unit. Its pretty fun because I get to boss around my subordinates and stuff, but there is a lot of walking with heavy bags and such.

I go to a search and rescue training camp with Civil Air Patrol every year, and we were driving past a lake looking for an ELT when we saw a crap ton of girls in bikinis. We were all like "I think we need to search over here! I saw something." And we were in uniforms... the ladies dig uniforms.

But anyway, camping can be fun. I always seem to go where the daddy long legs go. So that was interesting. But if you do go hiking, bring moleskin. Its a life saver.
