Author Topic: Need new headset  (Read 1797 times)

ahahaha imicros are loving jokes
i used to have them because i couldnt afford pricier ones and they broke every month
The one I had now actually lasted over a year, but one of the adjusters (or the thing that you adjust so it fits your head) snapped since I accidentally crushed it when it was in my backpack while I was laying back at school. I still use it since I fixed it after that incident, and it still works perfectly fine.

Zombie dude is just one of those people who are like "Oh I can't take care of it so its useless" mine would be just fine if I had taken better care of them. $30 headset.

They are held together with electrical tape and work amazing at the moment, but a new headset would still be nice

Yea it's the similar deal with me. I instantly taped this one back up, and the adjuster apparently seems to work fine for me. I'm raising up alotta money for an Afterglow headset I saw.

why does everyone want afterglow headsets

I'm not sure, but I wanted the AGUS.1S because of it's specs. There's another headset from Afterglow known as the Prismatic that's actually the same exact thing, but you can change colors with that Prismatic headset. I got into Afterglow when I first laid eyes on the Prismatic at GameStop while my brother was getting a new PS3. I searched this thing up some more and actually found the AGUS.1S that's the same exact thing minus the color-changing LEDS.

Save up another $10-20 and get something much much higher quality. For $40 I recommend the Logitech G230.

Loads of help, thank you very much!
... Instead of telling me to save money how about an actual suggestion.
If I wanted a expensive headset than I'd save up.

$40 isn't expensive. I'm recommending you don't make a stupid decision. You're not going to find all 3 of these qualities for $20.
Good quality
Last long

Wrong, I had a pair of $20 headset that lasted me 3 years without breaking. When it did break it was a loose wire that was easily fixed, it lasted another year before getting its final repair and then being tossed away.

I got 5 years of life out of it

Thank you very much

i would advise you thoroughly check all the reviews bc i've heard some terrible things about afterglow products

Thank you very much

then get that one...

obviously you're getting an amazing deal to get a $20 headset that lasts you 5 years, that's your best bet compared to all the others which last less than a year

I'm just tired of the whole "if its cheap than it isn't worth jack" type thing. If you are just showing up to say 'hur hur save money and get something expensive' than you're really no help to the main question.

I've looked through alot of reviews, Even this one said it was a good headset. Even onourshelf said it was a good headset despite the comfort after a while
