Not about Dashcon.
My problem with Tumblr took a while to find the right words. Luckily the InternetAristocrat (look him up on YouTube) helped me figure it out.
Tumblr is this website that's built hype as a place to go for those who feel any bit segregated from society. That's not inherently bad that it's giving people a kind of "refuge" from the harsh world we live in. But then as they explore various other Tumblrs they start to learn of these groups where they can "fit in" and feel special, like they're better than other people.
So Tumblr has a lot of people who aren't getting a lot of real-world attention for mostly anti-social reasons, and so they do stupid stuff (like claim CIS Males as rapists) so they can feel better than average people. They just love that pedestal of power.
It's almost as if having all those Disney movies telling people that they could be special if they tried backfired, and now we have a whole generation of people loving each other over just so they can be the special ones. Special Little Snowflakes.
