So on September 4th to be exact, I'm going to be taking my driving test to get my license, I''m 17 right now and the reason I'm just now getting my license is because I'm 6'8, and I needed to find a car that fit me and I could drive easily so I've only had my license since Valentines day.

So who here has their permit/license? Is anyone getting theirs soon?

got my permit in may of LAST YEAR and my parents can't seem to get me insured so I can't drive

i've had my permit for over the two years mark.

all i gotta do is go to the DMV and take the test and get my license but since i have a snake and i'm a teenager makes my insurance too expensive.

I was 'not responsible enough' to get my L plates back when I turned 16. Everyone I told that to thought it was ridiculous that my mum said that.

I might try getting them sometime soon.

In Tennessee, there is this online drivers ed course thing that if I complete it we get a huge discount off my insurance or something like that.

I still use my license as a permit because I still don't have a job to pay for the pocket draining insurance.
