I am now terrified of lady bugs. THANKS OBAMA.
In other words, don't click if you're terrified of Wasps or Tarantulas. Because it's a blend of both.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Okay, so story about wasps my Dad shared with us. He was playing basketball on an outside court right next his apartment, and when his ball hit the rim of the net, it hit a wasp nest and about 5 of them came out. As soon as he saw that he started run back to his apartment and he almost made it but as soon as he stopped to open the door they all stung him on his back.

Also, whenever we were living in an old house there was wasp nest outside during the night, and we wanted to take it down so we didn't get stung. So my dad got a broom and hit it then quickly jumped back inside the house, but there was a wasp on the broom. My sister ran  into her room and I ran into mine, and stuffed a blanket under the door so if it was in the house it couldn't get in. My dad just threw the broom outside and ran into his bedroom. We never came out for the rest of night, and when we left the rooms that morning we were glad there was no wasps in the house.

The tarantula hawk does nothing to humans, really. Why should it? It's got the ability to eat whole tarantulas. Stinging a human would just leave a "forget you" impression, whereas it's totally awesome to eat whole tarantulas. Occasionally it does sting yes but I'm guessing that it primarily relies on eating tarantulas. Still, it's awesome and one of the coolest insects.

I've had paper wasps/hornets in my car before in Florida. Fortunately, bees are the worst bug we get here in California, and I see nothing other than flies for the most part. Maybe an earwig or a silverfish. But those are very small, and very rare. I've seen one of each. However, in Florida, I got a wasp in the car while the windows were up and my dad and I didn't notice until the windows were rolled all the way up. So we had to frantically get it out, and then it wouldn't go out through the window. Then it flew around my dad's legs and we didn't see it again.

i thought you meant bugs as in video game bugs

I only fear accidental encounters with harmful insects or spiders. Anything else is welcome.

I don't really have fear of harmful (stinging, biting, etc) insects except for wasps. Bees are fine, I just try to walk around them and I don't really have issues if they're near me.  I've found scorpions on my front porch before and one of the times I tried to catch it, but I couldn't find it once I found a jar to get it in.  I was seriously considering bringing it to biology class because scorpions are fairly rare here.
